The aim of the project "HOUSE FOR THE CHILDREN WITH LEUKEMIA",
is to provide accommodation for the children who live in
other cities. The children shall be received in the terminal
by LÖSEV staff and shall be taken to this special house to
have their first treatment and also to accommodate.
This means; the children shall go under LÖSEV's protection
from the first moment that they arrive to Ankara.
According to the "House for the Children with Leukemia"
project; on the ground floor, there will be a kitchen,
a dining hall, a storage unit, a garage, a servant room;
on the first floor, there will be a specialists room,
a room for nurses, a psychologists room, an infirmary,
breast-feeding room, baby food kitchen, a room for 0-2 ages,
a room for 7-11 ages, a room for 12-... ages, painting and
music rooms, classrooms for English, Turkish, computer,
culture and art, drama courses and workshops for handcraft.
Construction project and technical infrastructure requirements
are already obtained. The total cost shall be
approximately 680.000 US $.
