Ankara Foundation for Children with Leukaemia was found in 1998. Those were the days when we were taking the children with Leukaemia to SSK hospital (Social Security Government Hospital) for treatment. After receiving a negative response to our demand of a small television for the children's room, we decided to set up a society to provide their emerging needs. In those days, it was quite difficult for us to provide even a small need of a child. But today we became a very strong and big family and we are getting stronger day by day;
we developped projects and fostered our goals We are still working hard to provide educational, financial, psychological and health support to our children and their families.
LOSEV has opened "LÖSANTE" to service the first and only hospital for children with leukaemia in Turkey on 24 September 2000 and liven up more than
1500 leukemic children and their families up to now. It also established school for children with leukaemia and has supported the pediatric hematology units in both Eastern and South-eastern Anatolia by creating permanent solutions and managed to run social and lasting services.
