In order to achieve positive results from the treatment, the children should be in sterile environments. Also, some portions of the treatment are made entirely in hospitals. However as a result of this period, our children are kept away from their schools and their education is interrupted. In order to ensure that our children reach the same levels of education with children at the same ages, LÖSEV provides art, music, English, computer, drama and literature lessons. For this reason the SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN WITH LEUKEMIA has been founded and as of today there are more than 100 students in our classes of kindergarten for the ages 5-6, elementary for the ages 6-12 and high school for the ages 12-18. In order to contribute to the socio-cultural development of the children activities such as theater, cinema and excursions continue. All the needs of the children such as their pencils, books, school bags and uniforms and even their transportation is provided by LÖSEV. Within the context of the education campaign, LÖSEV is still providing a monthly scholarship to 400 children with leukemia. 800 children has benefited from this scholarship until today. We aim to increase this number with the support and participation received from business circles, institutions and enterprises. Our foundation visits the schools of our children and provides the necessary information to their teachers as well as providing the necessary equipment and clothes.
