
LOSEV as an “NGO in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations” in the field of childhood health, especially in leukemia is continuing to share its experience with cooperate organizations around the world. LÖSEV aims to open new horizons to children and teenagers with cancer whose number continue to increase day by day throughout the world.
LÖSEV hosted 18 leukemic children from all over the world between May 30th – June 5th 2009 during the 8th The International Week For Children With Leukemia.
And now LÖSEV is getting ready to host 30 cancer survivors between 6-15 July 2009 in Cappadocia and Ankara. Teenagers from Luxemburg, Poland, Hungary, Portugal and Romania will meet together for the project “Hands Tenacious of Life” with the purpose to use art as a means to give hope to their siblings receiving cancer treatment in LÖSANTE Hospital for children with Leukemia through art.

Pre-visit meetings were held in Ankara with representatives of partner organizations and details of the project’s youth activities were discussed.
The representatives who also visited LÖSEV’s House for Children with Leukemia, the workshops of the mothers’ of leukemic children and Ispanak Showroom where their handmade products are sold.
At the end of the two-day visit, the group leaders started their journey back to their home country, saying that they cannot wait to come back again to Turkey with their groups in July.
