29th “Turkish Day Festival” and LOSEV

In the 29th “Turkish Day Festival” which was held in New York, LOSEV took place in the festival arena again with it’s volunteers and booth.

The “Turkish Day Festival” that was held each year in New York and by “Turkish-American Association Federation” (TAAF), eventuated in “Dag Hammarskjold Park” near United Nations Building (UN) and “Turkish House”.

The booth of Selma Başaran, Ayşin Çelebi, Ayşen Özdemir and Fatma Erdoğan who are friends of LOSEV living in New York, was considerably active.

Our volunteers who distributed brochure of LOSEV and gave information on our foundation’s works, were quite glad from the interest around. On that day, when the whole city was “red-white” colored, we want to thank both to our volunteers for their endeavor in starting preparations for representing LOSEV from months earlier and to our sensible folk for their endless support.
