              About

              Actually, we wanted to build a CITY for children with leukemia however;
              they said “A City Can Only Be Established Pursuant To A Village.”

              We have started the construction of an amazing “Circle of Life” composed of health and recreational facilities for families with leukemia and cancer who come to Ankara to receive treatment. We did not forget a school and sports facility in this village, which is composed of a health center, guest house, family dwellings and production workshops. Construction of buildings has begun on a piece of land - 13.000m2- located in Ankara, Gölbaşı İncek area.

              RESIDENCE FOR FAMILIES WITH LEUKEMIA
              Even the largest families may stay in the residences that have been constructed, as they differ in size and plan. All the residences will be completely furnished and all needs- from TV to teaspoon- will be met.

              24 residences are planned, and aim to be used for 3 purposes;

              1. Residences for families with leukemia and cancer who migrate from different provinces of Anatolia, outside Ankara, for their children’s therapy.
              2. Residences for families who have unfavorable living conditions during their therapy, or even after the termination of their therapy.
              3. Residences for the youth whose leukemia therapy was started during  childhood and has currently been terminated ,as well as for our staff.

              GUEST HOUSE FOR LEUKEMIA STRICKEN FAMILIES
              Families who came from different provinces of Anatolia for short-term therapy or analysis will benefit from this guest house that provides 5-star hotel service. Besides the restaurant, assembly room and fitness center, there will be 20 rooms in total, composed of double and triple units.

              WORKSHOPS
              Vocational courses will be organized for the families of children with leukemia, and afterwards occupational workshops such as knitting, tailoring and other handicrafts, and, in addition, baking, floriculture and babysitting will be set up.

              These workshops will not only provide social security opportunities and revenues to the families, but also contribute to their occupational therapy.

              HEALTH CENTER
              Modern laboratories and daily therapy units for children with leukemia and cancer will be run in the health center. Opportunities for clinical research and new discoveries will be made available.

              EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AND FITNESS CENTER
              Sports for a healthy life, and education, are  two important issues in the “Village for Children With Leukemia.” Besides kindergarten, primary and high school institutions, conference hall, outdoor and indoor sports areas will be constructed. A request of 2 other plots of land belonging to the General Directorate of National Estate under the Ministry of Finance have been submitted, and the land allocation is awaited.
