The pilot phase (2009-2010) of the “Cancer Sensitive Schools” Project was completed through its last activity the “Healthy Lifestyle Can Be Learned” Panel on 21st of May, 2010 at a host school Acarkent Doğa Collage in Istanbul.
Representing the partner schools the panelist students gave their speeches on the themes “What Does a Healthy Lifestyle Mean?”, “The Importance of the Environment Regarding Cancer Free Life”, “The Importance of Nutrition Regarding Cancer Free Life” and “Health Policy at School”.
LOSEV- Chairman of the Board Dr. Üstün EZER (MD) with our General Director of Education, founder of Doğa Schools Mr. Fethi Şimşek and their General Director Ugur Gazanker has participated to the Panel where the project outputs and results were also announced to the public opinion. “Papatyam” serial’s actresses Nilgün Kasapbaşoğlu ve Çiğdem Batur have honored our Panel with their presence as well.

After the Panel, the awards of the “Squares of a Healthy Life” photography contest were presented to the finalists. We would like to thank to our esteemed jury members Mr. Tuğrul Arat, Mr. Hasan Pekmezci and Mr. Abdurrahman Antakyalı once again for their precious support while electing the best articles of virtue.
